Philip is the Executive Chairman of Hellman & Friedman and serves as the Chairman of the Firm’s Investment Committee and a member of the Compensation Committee. He previously served as the Firm’s Chief Executive Officer from 2009 to 2017 and Co-CEO in 2018.
Philip joined H&F in 1992. He is currently a Director of Cordis and Circana and was formerly a Director of numerous portfolio companies, including, AlixPartners, Caliber Collision, Catalina, Change Healthcare (formerly Emdeon), Digitas, DoubleClick, GeoVera Insurance Group, Goodman Global, Grocery Outlet, Texas Genco and Young & Rubicam. Prior to H&F, Philip was employed by the Corporate Advisory Department of Dominguez Barry Samuel Montagu in Sydney, Australia and by the Merchant Banking Department of Morgan Stanley & Co. in New York.
Philip is active in the philanthropic community and currently serves as the Chairman of the UCSF Foundation Board of Directors, the Vice Chairman of the Princeton University Board of Trustees and the Board of Advisors of the International Rescue Committee.

Bill Ackman is the CEO of Pershing Square Capital Management, L.P., an SEC-registered investment adviser founded in 2003. Mr. Ackman is Chairman of The Howard Hughes Corporation (NYSE:HHC) and a member of the board of Universal Music Group N.V. (NA:UMG).
He serves as a member of the Investor Advisory Committee on Financial Markets for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and a member of the Board of Dean’s Advisors of the Harvard Business School.
Mr. Ackman is co-trustee of the Pershing Square Foundation, a family foundation, that supports exceptional leaders and innovative organizations tackling important social issues and delivering scalable and sustainable impact across the globe.

Keith is a Partner and the Head of Gryphon’s Heritage Fund Team. He is responsible for leading the origination and monitoring of investments and managing the group, including the Heritage Fund’s investments in Kano Laboratories, Repipe Specialists, and Vivify Specialty Ingredients and prior investment in Heritage Distribution Holdings. Keith is a member of the firm’s investment committee. Prior to leading the Heritage Fund Team, Keith was Head of Gryphon’s Consumer Team, where he originated and led Gryphon’s platform investments in Amport Foods, Ann’s House of Nuts (Amport and Ann’s were consolidated under Flagstone Foods), Consolidated Fire Protection, Dessert Holdings, Fleet Laboratories, K&N Engineering, Matrixx Initiatives/ZICAM, Mechanix Wear Gloves and TrustHouse Services. In addition, Keith led multiple add-on acquisitions for platform companies, including for Consolidated Fire Protection, Flagstone Foods, TrustHouse Services, Heritage Distribution and K&N Engineering, as well as the sale processes for Flagstone Foods, Consolidated Fire Protection, TrustHouse Services, Sheplers, Heritage Distribution, K&N, Matrixx, Desserts Holdings and Miller Heiman Inc. Keith received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School as well as his MBA from Wharton.
Dawn Fitzpatrick is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Soros Fund Management LLC, in this capacity she heads the firm with oversight for both investment and non-investment personnel. Prior to joining Soros in 2017, Dawn spent 25 years at UBS and its predecessor organizations, where most recently she was Head of Investments for UBS Asset Management. In that role, she had global responsibility for overseeing active and passive strategies across asset classes, comprising over $500 billion of client capital. Prior to that she was CEO and CIO of the O’Connor hedge fund business. Dawn began her career as a clerk on the American Stock Exchange and then a trader on the Chicago Board of Options exchanges. During her tenure, she served as head of various direct investment teams specializing in equities, convertible corporate bond arbitrage, and merger arbitrage, as well as derivatives across asset classes. At UBS, Ms. Fitzpatrick was a Group Managing Director, and served as a member of the UBS Asset Management Executive Committee. Ms. Fitzpatrick received her Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. At Penn she ran track and now sits on the Penn Athletics Board of Advisors.

GTCR Info Session: Associate Experience and PE Recruiting
Join Cameron Rouzer and Nelson Iginla, Vice Presidents at GTCR, as they discuss their extensive experience as associates at companies like Goldman Sachs, BCG, Bain Capital, IGNIA Partners, and GTCR. Specifically, they intend to illuminate what exactly it means to be an associate partner at a large finance company. The two will also be sharing their unique insights into the recruiting process as well as how to interview for a PE position.
The session will conclude with a deeper dive into GTCR, the Chicago based PE firm at which the two both work. GTCR has invested over $15 billion over the last 30 years into ventures like Amir, Inteliquent, and Ceba-Tech.
